Nanchang County is located near the city of Nanchang in Jiangxi province, on the lower reaches of the Gan and Fu rivers. The area has a history of over 2200 years and is home to a number of historical attractions, including the ancestral home of the famous Qing dynasty writer Cao Xueqin and late Ming dynasty architecture. There are also several scenic areas including Chengbi Lake.
