Must-See Spot: Blue Shutters Beach Address: 469 E Beach Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813 Hours: 9AM–5PM Mon-Fri, 8AM–5PM Sat & Sun (year-round) Why Visit? Blue Shutters Beach is all about wide-open sands, easy waves, and stunning ocean views. Whether you’re coming for sunrise yoga, sandcastle hangs, or one of those beach walks that never get old, this spot delivers on chill and beauty. The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly—no wild parties, just the sound of waves and happy locals. Practical Tips: Parking can fill up late morning in peak season, so aim to arrive before 10AM for the best spot. Don’t stress if you’re traveling light—there are clean restrooms on-site and outdoor showers to rinse the saltwater off. Pack snacks! The area is more about nature than food stands, so bring your own cooler or picnic. Getting Around: You’ll need a car to get here—public transit is limited. Once on E Beach Rd, the entrance is well-marked but easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled! Bike racks available if you’re cycling in.
