The "submerged torii gate" is almost always featured in magazines showcasing stunning scenery. ⁡It is said that "the path leading from the torii gate to Benten Island lies dormant at the bottom of Benten Pond."☺️ At this time of year, water lilies bloom profusely in the pond, creating a magnificent spectacle. Actually, this place isn't deep in the mountains or in the middle of nowhere, but rather within the city. ⁡ You can see this breathtaking view just a 2-minute walk from the parking lot.☺️ ♡………………… Location Artwork Title: Submerged Torii Gate Spot Name: Hachiman Shrine & Oike-ji Temple Address: 1168 Nasaka, Minakuchi-cho, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture Opening Hours: 24 hours Parking: Free parking available. Date of shooting: June 4, 2026 Time of shooting: 10:00 AM · Water lilies begin to bloom in the morning and close by noon. ⁡ Flower meanings by color: White: "Purity," "Innocence" Pink, Purple, Blue: "Trust" Yellow: "Gentleness," "Sweetness" ⁡ While they have a pure image, they also have the flower meanings of "destruction" and "end of love."
