Tongshan

Tongshan County is located in southeast Hubei and is a cradle of culture. According to archaeological records, humans were thriving here as early as the Neolithic era. Tongshan is a county of gorgeous natural landscapes. In its east is the famous Taoist mountain Taiping Mountain. In its south are the Jiugong (“Nine Temples”) Mountains, unrivaled in central China for their scenery. In its west is Dacheng (“Big Wall”) Mountain, with its hundred caves. In the north is the forest park of Damu Mountain. In its center is the “paradise of water and earth,” Fushui (“Rich Water”) Lake and the “underground corridor” that is Yinshui (“Hidden Water”) Cave.
