I believe the place is nice and cozy, but you get confused by the fact it&#39;s not clear when you book that at specific times brunch is the only option. Further to me the food is far from being Japanese in the strict sense. Service is great.

Food is very good but there is a construcion site near the restaurant and because that it it extrem noisly.

What a nice place. The ambiance was exceptional and the service was pretty good. We came here for an upscale and a more private experience for my wife&#39;s birthday and we weren&#39;t disappointed. Wines by the glass were exceptional for white wine and we had a very reasonably priced bottle of Spanish Rioja that was excellent. The food menu is not extensive and somewhat eclectic, so check the menu beforehand to avoid being disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our entrees and appetizers.

The steak and the french fries are the best we tasted in city and the service from LASZLO was fantastic, he was very attentive and kind! We liked so much that we came back twice during our travel.

The Unkai is a perfect location to go after a concert in the Musikverein. All perfect: it&lsquo;s near, the food is excelent an the service staff very kind!

Great food, and super friendly service. We had to get to a concert on time, so we did not stretch our visit out to the extent that dining at Unkai deserves.

The service is thoughtful and comprehensive, the ordering and serving efficiency is extremely high, the dish presentation and taste are extremely excellent, the black truffle configuration is very generous, and the food is not much inferior to the music.

We went here with friends from out of town. The ambiance was very nice. Though it was full, it was remarkably quiet. The lights were low but not dark and the atmosphere was cozy. We had the salmon on a bed of vegetables (requested no rice) and it was very tasty. We would definitely return!

Excellent food. The place was busy. We tried to walk in on the previous evening and no chance of a table.Book in advance to avoid disappointment.Excellent evening.

I went there after reading reviews and was disappointed because the menu had changed, but I was impressed by the creative fusion cuisine. The crispy chicken and tartare made our dinner happy.
