The main attractions of Castle Hill are the Big Clock Tower, the ruins of the bunker, the Castle Hill Museum, the Cassemart Stage, the Fort, and the Starbast Prison. The tower was built in the 13th century. Castle Hill is 437 meters high and can be reached by cable car or on foot. The Castle Hill rising from the old town and the big bell standing on it have become the symbol of Graz. There are three main ways to visit the mountain: if you want to be more relaxed, you can choose to take a 2-minute cable car to the top of the mountain. It is a transparent elevator that takes you directly to the mountain in half a minute. Then, you can also follow the stone stairs built on the mountain wall ——Chris Trail, and go up the mountain after 260 steps. It is recommended to take the ropeway or elevator up the mountain, and then walk down the stone steps. There are also three options for going down the mountain: take the elevator down the mountain; walk from the Chris Trail to the mountainside platform; or choose a romantic and quiet mountain path to Carmelite Square, then proceed to the direction of Spect Street until the exit of Hairen Street .
