Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Park covers an area of nearly 200,000 square meters. This large park next to the Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center is characterized by the original ecology and adopts a fully open design, so that citizens can have intimate contact with the lake vegetation. Its predecessor was Pazhou Sports and Fitness Park. In order to welcome the Asian Games, Haizhu District has upgraded and renovated the exhibition park, combining sidewalks, bicycle paths and park paths, retaining the original trees, creating a forest vagina, and creating a beautiful landscape belt. The surrounding roads have also been greened and upgraded, and the bicycle lanes and sidewalks have been re-built into the green belt, becoming a veritable greenway. Entering the exhibition park, you can see a country scenery, the lake is clear and bottomless, and the green trees stretch all the way to the river. In view of the monotonous shortcomings of the original plant species, the renovation of the park focused on adding more than 50 species of trees and shrubs, especially the addition of characteristic flowering tree species, such as redbud, magnolia, etc., which enriched the plant species and improved the landscape effect.
