In Vietnam, the Reunification Palace can be said to be a very famous attraction. Anyone who has been to Vietnam does not have to visit there. On the second day we arrived in Vietnam, we came to the prestigious Reunification Palace. Reunification Palace, formerly known as "Norodon Palace" was originally the French government in southern Vietnam. In 1954, the French evacuated and handed over the "Norodon Palace" to the then Vietnamese government. In order to show Vietnam's independence from French colonial rule, the Vietnamese government renamed it "Independence Palace." Later, with the national reunification of Vietnam's North and South, the "Independence Palace" was renamed the "Reunification Palace" as a symbol of the Vietnamese people's struggle for national independence and national unity.
