Beyond the "abdominal muscle" of the little turtle, what Marathon Island (Key Marathon) turtle hospital in the turtle hospital has largely subverted my imagination, on the one hand, it is professional - with strict partitions and advanced operating rooms, and even three ambulances, we watched an operation here, Doctors from other states have made a special trip to give the turtle a flying knife; on the other hand, turtles will suffer so many injuries because of human behavior - in addition to ship collisions, fishing gear entanglement, foreign objects swallowed, and environmental pollution. Over the 33 years since the Turtle Hospital was founded, more than 1,500 injured or sick turtles have been successfully treated and released. The old man on the leftmost side of Figure 5 is the founder of this nonprofit organization. When we asked why the Turtle Hospital was established, he answered with his chest, "for the sake of a little better heart"...
