Wenhai is located in the north of Lijiang. It is a pure place that has not been extensively developed. A lake sits quietly on a broad meadow. The lake water changes colors with the blue sky. Cows and horses graze leisurely, and there are also wild ducks from time to time. Come and feel relaxed. To play Wenhai, you can charter a car from the ancient city of Lijiang. There is not much development around Wenhai. Only some herdsmen provide horseback riding services, and you can walk along the lake on horseback. The best season to visit Wenhai is around July, when the wildflowers on the meadows by the lake are in full bloom, colorful and very beautiful.
