Photos of The Gamble House

The Gable House was designed in 1908 by the Pasadena architectural firm Greene & Greene and became the winter residence of David Gable and Mary Gable. The Gable House is a well-preserved example of early 20th century building craftsmanship, it preserves all the original furniture designed by the architect, and the house is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1985, in the film Back to the Future, Gable House was chosen as the home of Dr. Emmett Brown. Today, Gable Cottage has been converted into a House Museum, with featured tours available most of the year.
