Photos of Inokashira Park

Inokashira Park opened as early as 1917 and is one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo. This is the ideal place to relax and unwind all year round. In April, when the cherry blossoms are fluttering, you can row a boat in the lake and enjoy the fun of viewing cherry blossoms on the lake. Inokashira Park has lakes, forests, walking paths, tennis courts, zoos, botanical gardens, children's playgrounds, and sculpture halls. There is also the famous Miyazaki "Mitaka no Mori Art Museum". There are sports fields and jogging routes in the park. Part of the terrain near the JR station is relatively low, walking around the lake, and there are bridges connecting the two banks, for the convenience of tourists who come here to take a walk and enjoy the scenery when choosing a route. The large lake in the middle is home to water birds and colorful carp, and at the back of the lake is a small temple dedicated to Benzaiten, the god of love and water.
