Two-hour weekend escape from Los Angeles: Santa Barbara + Ojai 🌴 Day 1 Santa Barbara: Depart at 10am and arrive at your destination around noon. Enjoy lunch at the Stella Mare French Restaurant by the lake before entering the city. The interior of this restaurant is very simple and lovely, like a French country house. It was available every Sunday morning and ended at 1 pm. There are a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits here, and there are many stalls with cockroaches, which is very missed. After shopping, you can visit the neighborhood, which has many antique shops, coffee shops and bookstores. Generally, it takes about two hours to get around. Ojai is a quiet town hidden in the mountains, and the architectural style is also biased towards Spain, so it will give people a feeling of being in a European town. At noon, you can go to Ojai Rotie, a Lebanese-style restaurant. The outdoor dining environment is very beautiful, as if you are picnicking.
