Sanjay Gandhi National Park is located on the northern edge of the suburbs of Mumbai, covering an area of 104 square kilometers. It has rich flora and fauna resources, and also plays a role in purifying the air of Mumbai. In the park you can go on a LionTiger Safari, or take a shuttle bus to Shilonda Falls, Lake Vihar and Lake Tulsi for boating. Every October-April is a good time for bird watching, and August-November can see all kinds of beautiful butterflies. Kanheri Caves (Kanheri Caves) park 6 kilometers away is a group of caves, where Buddhist monks practiced and lived, and now you can admire ancient and exquisite carvings.
