The New York Public Library is a gorgeous building, and the two stone lions at the entrance are named Patience and Strength. The library has a rich collection, with a total of 16.47 million volumes of books, journals, manuscripts and pictures. After passing through security, visitors can visit the quaint hall, reading room and showroom. The classical library is also a frequent visitor in film and television works. "Wonderful Night at the Museum", "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Spider-Man" have all been filmed here.
