I took my grown Son and his huge German shepherd and sat outside to eat and drink.Service was great and the food amazing.He had the beef pie and said it was the best.I had the aubergine lasagna which was very tasty

I can&rsquo;t rate it highly enough&hellip;. This quaint restaurant is full of charm &amp; ambience &amp; serves the most delicious food. Four of us came for my birthday &amp; we all had a wonderful evening. The cheese souffl&eacute;, pork belly &amp;  orange &amp; thyme treacle tart were all beautifully presented &amp; absolutely exquisite.  We will definitely be returning to this lovely little restaurant in the near future.

The restaurant was very welcome, and also busy. We asked for a table in a quiet area, and got one in a corner. A bit tight to get in and out if you were by the wall, but fine with us as we did not have to battle with other neighbours noise. Food excellent  also drinks. Will definitely go again

Sunday evening was quiet and we wanted a Roast meal, The service was great, a bit slow and the menu shorter than normal. The food was great. Don&#39;t feel they can serve in evening what they had obviously done so well at Lunch time

First time I&#39;ve been here for a number of years but everything was excellent.  The service was prompt, friendly and efficient.  The food was excellent, well cooked and attractive on the plate as well as having great flavour.  Overall a most enjoyable evening and we will definitely re-visit in the not too distant future

A nice pub/restaurant with really good food and excellent service in pleasant surroundings at a reasonable price. It&#39;s so good we keep coming back!

The service was excellent and the food good. Our only complaint was the difficulty in reading the menu in the dim lighting. Please use a larger font and a darker print!
