Located near the Louvre, the Louvre Church was founded in the 7th century and is generally considered to be the church of the Louvre. The church is a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and other architectural styles. The striking exterior features the portico, rose window, and balustrade that wraps around the entire chapel. There are wooden statues of Saint Germain in the 15th century, Miso stone sculptures of Zaragoza carved in the same period, wood carvings of Flanders altars and other items of historical value in the church.
