The air was fresh and the view from the top breathtaking. It&#39;s better to come here by subway, the gate to Drum Mountain is just  a few minutes away from the station. If you have a short time to visit, go to the mointain top in a cable car. It is 70 kuai roundtrip. Be aware though that the cable car ticket window opens at 8 am. Be sure to visit the temple at the top for an extra 40 kuai.

Big tickets are free, just go in directly. In terms of transportation, the subway entrance is at the gate, which is very convenient. Many Fuzhou citizens climb the mountain to exercise, and I go directly to the cable car. There is no discount on the cable car, so you can buy it directly on the spot. The cable car is open-air, just a ceiling. The scenery on the mountain is generally the same, and there are many celebrity inscriptions.

Pretty and well-kept old buildings. There are labels with explanations in both Mandarin and English about the house owners (well-known ones). However, this area is mostly for commercial purposes - lots of shops and a mall at the back.

Visitors like three squares and seven lanes, walk everywhere, eat, drink, visit, the streets are full, occasionally go into these small attractions, see the ancient construction, avoid the crowds, rest for a while, the tour experience is better!

Beautiful courtyard and great museum inside. The history about Lin Zexu is mostly in Chinese, but the museum about the Opium War in the back had explanations in English. Entrance is completely free just by showing passport (foreigners).

This city wall is unexpectedly huge! I tried covering some parts of the wall walking, but after 2 hours could only get to the West gate (from South gate). It was so tiring. I suggest using the cart/trolley for 80 kuai if exploring all the corners of the wall is your goal. Cycling is also not bad. This place is very clean and pretty, recommended for a visit.

The city wall is still worth a visit. The city wall is relatively large. You can ride a bicycle, a single bicycle. 45 yuan. Double bicycle, 90 yuan. If you have enough time, you can ride a bike on it and walk slowly.
