Aershan Volcano Hot Spring National Geopark is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the southwest foothills of Da Hinggan Mountain, with a total area of 814 square kilometers, mainly composed of five scenic spots such as Tianchi Volcano Group, Hot Spring Group, Rose Peak Granite Rock Forest, Triangle Mountain Port and Haosengou. It is mainly characterized by volcanic landforms and hot springs, highlighting volcanic landforms, hot spring group landforms, hailstone landforms, granite forest landforms, alpine lakes and Quaternary plateau snake-qure relics, integrating scientific research, inspection, protection, tourism, recuperation, science education, leisure vacation, Entertainment and adventure are the largest volcanic hot spring national geological park in China. The natural scenery in the park is beautiful, the geological content is rich, and the geological relics are diverse and rare. Tianchi Volcanic Group Scenic Area has the relics of multi-phase volcanic activity, especially the Quaternary basalt multi-phase activity, forming a spectacular scale, strange shape, complete structure, and widely distributed volcanic rock geomorphology, of which the volcanic lakes and lava hills are the most prominent and wonderful. There are more than 20 volcanic lakes of various types found, typical of Mar Lake: Tianchi, Tuofengling Tianchi, No. 3 Gou Tianchi, Shuanggou Mountain Tianchi, Dichi, etc.; Bosai Lake: Rhododendron Lake, Pine Leaf Lake, Luming Lake, Xianhe Lake, etc.
