Andrassy Avenue Review

Andrassy Avenue, the Chinese name Andras Street, is the most famous commercial street in Budapest, facing the chain bridge. Below this street is the oldest subway in Europe. In addition, Hungary's National Opera is located on the north side of this street.

Andras is named after the first Hungarian prime minister, Earl Andras, and underground is Budapest's Metro Line 1, the Little Yellow Line. It is lined with high-end residential areas and shops, while retaining many ancient buildings. Follow Andras Street to the end is Heroes Square.
