Royal Tobacco Factory of Seville Review

The heroine of the famous opera Carmen is the female worker of the Sevilla tobacco factory, but now the smoke factory is part of the University of Sevilla, passing by on the way from the city to Plaza de España.

The old Sevilla Cigarette Factory was built in the 18th century, once called the Antigua Cigarette Factory, later renamed the old Cigarette Factory, which was once the place where Carmen worked, and in 1951 it was transformed into the Faculty of Law of the University of Seville, and it was passed from the Cigarette Factory to Plaza de España and Louisa Park.

From the Cathedral of Seville to the Plaza de España, pass the Alfonso XIII Hotel, next to the Alfonso XIII Hotel is the Royal Old Cigarette Factory in Sevilla, one of the oldest Cigarette Factories in Seville, and the building is currently used by the University of Seville. This is also the place where the legendary Carmen story took place.

When we went, the gate was closed and we couldn't get in and visit.
