Miura is a female writer born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. She became a famous writer for her debut novel Ice Point. After her death, Asahikawa set up a literary museum to commemorate her. The museum opened in Pingcheng 10 (1998), as a cultural heritage left to future generations, not only collects and preserves literary materials related to the writer Miura, but also introduces the background of the era when the works were born. The exhibition room is composed of 5 exhibition rooms from 1st to 5th with the theme of "Hope, Love and Life". Others include library, library, coffee room and so on.
