Baiyangdian is a lake in the Daqing Henan branch of the Haihe River Basin. It is the general name of 143 interconnected large and small berths at the junction of Baoding City and Cangzhou City. The total area is 366 square kilometers, and the average annual water storage is13.2 billion cubic meters. It is the largest lake in Hebei Province. The fan margin depression at the intersection of the Yongding River and the Luo River alluvial fan in front of Taihang Mountain, from the north, west and south, nine larger rivers such as the Waterfall River, Tang River, Luo River and Luolong River enter the lake, and pass through the flood gates and overflow in the northeast of the lake through the Zhaowang New River and enter the Daqing River. Baiyangdian is affected by the lake's topography, climate change, human production and other factors, and the history has been shrinking and expanding. In the late 20th century, the reduction was large in the early 21st century. It dried up in the 1980s and the heavy rain in 1988 restored Baiyangdian Lake District. Baiyangdian Li is the border of Yan Zhao and Songliao in the Warring States, and the fighting is constantly; Baiyangdian was an important channel between Baoding and Tianjin before the Republic of China. The traditional industries in the lake area are fishing and reed industries. After the 20th century, with the rise of China's domestic tourism industry, it gradually became a tourist attraction, and was rated as a tourist attraction in China in 2007.
