As a Buddhist country, the National Museum of Thailand is more a Buddhist cultural exhibition. In addition, it also shows the Thai king's food and living, the imperial chariots for travel, Buddhist artworks, etc., and many exhibition rooms have air conditioning.

loved this museum, I have a great interest in Buddhist art particularly, but even if you don’t, this museum is worth a visit. lots of info, in both English and Thai, and many exhibitions on Thai history, royalty and Buddhism. Tickets are 200baht each, and worth every penny. it’s also a good way to escape the heat for a few hours, if you find the heat difficult.

No matter how many times you come, you won't get bored. Open Wednesday - Sunday, close Monday - Tuesday.

and to learn much more than expected about Thai art, culture and history. Strongly recommended! The private tours can be booked, free of charge. I like museums but unfortunately I wasted a couple of hours of my life I won’t get back.
