Bantisley (Banteay Srei) (some people call it the "Queen's Palace", that is, the meaning of "Woman's Castle"), located in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, about 25 kilometers from Angkor City, is one of the three major temples in Cambodia, known as the "Pearl of Angkor Monuments". Shiva, one of the three gods of Brahminism, is worshipped. Built in 967, it was completed in 1002 under the reign of Jehovah V (Jayavarman V).
