Bay of Fundy Review

Fendi Bay (Bay of Fundy) has the world's largest high tide, usually 14 or 15 meters, it is said that a record of 21 meters has been observed. The beach is full of strange stones, and you can't help but admire the magic of nature.

The Bay of Fendi has a tidal difference of about 16 meters, compared to the global average of about 1 meter. Some tides are higher than others, depending on the location of the moon, the sun and atmospheric conditions. The tides that flow through the channel are very powerful due to the resonance of the funnel-shaped bay. In a 12-hour tidal cycle, about 100 billion tons of water flow into and out of the bay, double the total flow of all the world's rivers over the same period.
