The Cathedral Square is the central square of the Kremlin in Moscow, named after the three cathedrals facing it, the Assumption Cathedral, the Angel Growing Cathedral and the Notre Dame Cathedral. The cathedral square was once the site of all the coronation and funeral parades of Russian czars, Patriarchs and Grand Duke of Moscow, and the inauguration of the Russian president is still held here.
