(Good Shepherd's Church, which sounds interesting and simple, records the history of early New Zealand immigrants and is a tribute to the pioneers who pioneered farmland in Mackenzie. The church is not huge, or even very mini. It's an ancient stone church. The stone archway is small enough to accommodate only one person, and the small room on the left side of the door is pasted with an A4 size. On the paper, it says that there is no photograph inside the church (in Chinese), beside which stands an old lady, probably the administrator of the church, who seems to supervise tourists. In fact, the church is very simple. There are several rows of benches in the room of twenty or thirty square meters. The only bright spot is that from the window of the altar of the church, the Southern Alps appear so pure and clear in front of the cross. Maybe it's because it's built near Tekapo Lake, which makes people feel peaceful and beautiful. Ordinary church window paintings depict the story of the Bible of Jesus, and the chapel through the bright window to see through the beautiful scenery of snow mountains, lakes and waters, whether touching the soul purification feeling. If Lu Binghua blooms from November to December, the color will be rich, but the continuous meadow is not interesting. The "Shepherd Dog Monument" on the right side of the church, the faithful shepherd dog stands tall and roars, and the inscription at the bottom is inscribed - "No shepherd dog, no town today "In memory of the shepherd dog heroes who helped build the Mackenzie area, express the gratitude of the local people to the shepherd dog. Behind the church is a curtain-blue lake with snow mountains in the distance to form a beautiful painting of the South Alps. Along the Lake Tekapo hiking route to Mount Johnson, about three hours to and fro, Mount John Observatory on the top of the mountain is the ideal place to see the bright stars. Walking along the church to the lake, here is a large green area. A few simple seats are enough to meet the visitors'sightseeing needs. Looking up at the sky, clouds show magical scenery, like a curtain floating on the lake. It is often said that Lake Tekapo is the most beautiful place in New Zealand, with green grasslands, blue lake water in the foreground, and lofty snow peaks in the foreground. Zhang Ming is photographed with his hands. Postcards, it seems so. Late at night, driving alone to church, going to a quiet place, quiet and enjoy the bright stars alone, watching meteors cut across the sky, a moment of brilliance, acquiesced in the wishes.
