Very good place, different feeling, have time to see it

Our hotel passes through Damascus many times a day. Outside it is a busy Arab market with snacks, clothes and so on. We are not afraid of the silence of the Sabbath. There are two stations near by foot. The bigger one can have a car to Bethlehem, Palestine, etc. The 231 flights are denser.

Damascus Gate is the largest, oldest and noisiest gate in Jerusalem to the north of the old city, and vendors will welcome everyone in the open area outside the gate. Every day you will see an endless stream of Arabs and tourists shuttling here, very lively.
