Daxiangguo Temple was built in Beiqi Tianbao for six years (555). In the first year of the Tang Dynasty (712), Tang Yuzong was awarded the title of Daxiangguo Temple by the Xiangwang to the throne. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Xiangguo Temple was revered by the Royal Family and expanded many times. It is the largest monastery in Beijing and the national Buddhist activity center. It was damaged by the war and floods. It was rebuilt in 1671. It is now preserved in the temple of the Ten Kings, the temple of the Great Hall, the Octagon Palace, the Tibetan Jinglou, the Buddha with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes.
