Aershan Rhododendron Lake is a lake formed by lava flows blocking the valley when a volcano erupts. Rhododendron Lake is located 92 kilometers northeast of Aershan City, Inner Mongolia, at an altitude of 1,244 meters, covering an area of 128 hectares. It is named after the lakeside full of rhododendron flowers. The lake is L-shaped, the southeast is the inlet, the southwest is the outlet, the upper is connected to the pine leaf lake, the lower is the Haraha River, the average water depth is2.5 meters, the deepest is more than 5 meters, is a flowing living water lake.
