The Duke of Wellington's riding statue stands at the junction of Princes Street and North Bridge, looking out over the bridge leading to the Old City, and the Duke himself is pleased with the statue. There are three statues in all of England, one in his former residence, one in Appleley and the other in Eton College, London.
