We have been to many places in the Annapolis Valley and on the south bank of Nova Scotia, but my favorite place to date, after Halifax, is of course the fisherman's bay. The place is very close to Halifax, if there is no traffic jam, it only takes about 20 minutes to drive from the downtown area, even a very careful driver can drive there. The giant parking lot is very helpful. The colorful houses are full of souvenirs you can't find elsewhere. But of course garbage souvenirs are everywhere. There are some seemingly comfortable restaurants and cafes, the one we went to offers affordable food. The restaurant is called Pier Seafood.

Fisherman's Bay is a beautiful bay in Halifax, the bay is docked by many fishing boats, hence the name Fisherman's Bay. The shores of the bay are full of a wide variety of seafood restaurants and bars, and this is also the best place for Halifax nightlife, and the neon lights of restaurants and bars at night are very lively.
