The Karma Temple, known as the Karma Dansa Temple, is located in the quiet valley of the Baixi Mountain, about 120 kilometers upstream of the Zhaqu River in Karu District. The Karma Temple was founded by the Karmapa monks in 1185 AD, the ancestral temple of the Karmapa sect, and the Karmapa temple is also named for the Karmapa Temple. The Karma Temple has a long history and has three temples of the Spirit Pagoda. The architectural style is unique. It has the architectural style carefully designed and built by Tibetan, Han, Naxi and other ethnic groups and craftsmen in Nibhara (now Nepal). The temple has a large number of cultural relics and treasures, and the portraits of the living Buddha of Karma are painted above the wall.
