The sunset is beautiful anyway. However, I think it is difficult for tourists to go by public transportation, so chartered tours or taxis are good. There is basically nothing nearby, but there is Mitsui's outlet about １０ by car. I think it's an Instagram spot in front of the Ferris wheel there. I recommend seeing the sunset here once.

Arrived at Gaome with heavy winds. Its so cold but the amazing thing is that we’ve witnessed the windmills on their top speed. The place is clean and well maintained. Enjoyed watching birds (pelicans/ egrets, i think). Must visit!

The sunset in Gaomei Wetland is the best surprise that I met in Taichung. I sat on the long seaside embankment and waited for the sunset to blossom in brilliant colors and walk barefoot on the shallow beach. My mood was so happy that I could not describe it.
