Gaya Island is the largest island in the sea area of Donggu Abdul Raman Ocean Park, about 15 square kilometers from Kota Kinabalu. It may be that there are restrictions on the number of people going to the island every day. You need to book in advance to get to the island, and there are only a few fixed boats to pick up and drop off every day. In order to cooperate with their time, we have been very early for a few days. It takes about10-15 minutes to get to Gaya Island by speedboat. There are only 3 hotels on the island. External traffic is independent, there is no road on the island, most of them are undeveloped tropical rainforests, like a private holiday paradise. The island has white and delicate beaches, as well as pebble beaches, mud beaches, mangroves and sandy rock cliffs. In the sea of Police Bay, the beaches that stretch from shallow to deep into the bay create a perfect snorkeling stronghold. The island is surrounded by coral reefs and is very beautiful. The island is well developed, there are many entertainment projects, and it is very fun.
