Old Masters Picture Gallery Review

For us, the most attractive thing about Zwinger is the ancient master gallery. At the entrance is the Sleeping Venus, which the author says is Titian and Giorgio Ne. The treasure of the town hall is the Sistine Virgin, a huge painting suitable for viewing from far and near angles.

Known as the gallery, it is actually a 6-story art gallery, with a lot of huge oil paintings and a sculpture gallery. Due to the limited time, we only visited a few famous master works under the guidance of local guides. I really like it for a day and a fine taste.

Located in the palace of Zwenger, there are many exhibits from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, including Raphael's "The Sistine Virgin", which is said to be one of the most famous statues of the Virgin in art history. Free admission is available with Dresden Museum Card.

I like to see oil paintings very much, it is a feast. Looking at the original and the printed products is completely different. From the first time I went to Europe to contact oil painting, I like to see it very much. Even if I don't know the author and don't know the background, but seeing the favorite works will make me feel happy and relaxed.
