As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have real-time access to current reviews. However, Gion in Kyoto generally receives positive reviews for its preserved historic charm, traditional architecture, and the opportunity to experience geisha culture. Visitors often appreciate the atmospheric streets, teahouses, and the chance to witness geisha or maiko. Keep in mind that experiences may vary, so checking recent reviews online or travel platforms for the latest insights would provide more accurate and up-to-date information.

Gion in Kyoto is absolutely enchanting! 🌸🏮 This historic district is known for its traditional atmosphere and being the center of the geisha culture. As you stroll through the streets, you'll be surrounded by beautiful wooden machiya houses, teahouses, and quaint shops. Gion is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Japanese culture and witness the elegance of geisha and maiko. Don't forget to explore Hanamikoji Street, where you'll find charming restaurants and teahouses. And if you're lucky, you might even spot a geisha or maiko walking gracefully along the streets. Gion is a must-visit destination in Kyoto that will transport you to a bygone era. Have you had the chance to experience the magic of Gion? 🌸🏮

The kimono is very beautiful. It's a very colorful, feminine outfit. and walking is a bit uncomfortable and I feel so hot. However, if you want to take a lot of pretty pictures, be sure to try it on.
