Guandu Ancient Town, a long-standing Guandu Town, is located in the southeast suburbs of Kunming. It is one of the famous historical and cultural ancient towns in Kunming. It is now a new district of Kunming. The gate of Guandu Ancient Town (Dapaifang) is located 8 kilometers from the southeast suburbs of Kunming, located on the north bank of Dianchi Lake and downstream of Baoxiang River, covering an area of 17 square kilometers. Guandu Ancient Town has many cultural monuments and rich cultural landscapes. There are many landscapes such as Wushan, Liusi, Qige and Eight Temples in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing periods in less than 1.5 square kilometers. Now, like ancient towns across the country, most of them are newly built antique buildings (there are also less ancient buildings), commercial pedestrian streets, full of tourist shops, restaurants, homestays and bar streets. The ancient town is open all year round and open all day without tickets.
