Guilin Library is located on the north road of Wuhu, the beautiful shore of Wuhu Lake in the center of Guilin. It was founded in 1909 (the first year of Qing Xuantong) and is the earliest library in Guangxi. Originally called "Guangxi Library", "Guangxi Provincial First Library", "Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region First Library" and other names, in 1980 changed to the current name. Guilin Library collects a large number of clear versions of ancient books, many of which are original engraved, orphaned, good books. It also houses paintings and calligraphy from all over the past generations, and a large number of local documents in Guangxi. The old museum of Guilin Library was destroyed during the War of Resistance Against Japan. It is now a brick and wooden structure with two-story pillars imitating the Soviet Union. It was built in 1954. Last time I went to the scenic spot of Yuhu Lake, I also went to the Guilin Library to stroll around. It was very cool. I was tired of visiting the scenic spot. I could rest there.
