The Longwang Temple in Nuodeng is different from other places in China. It is said to be the only Longwang Temple seeking drought. According to the examination, this village is the oldest village in the northwest of Yunnan Province, and the only village in the earliest historical book "Manshu" recorded. Modern residential buildings in the village are rare, but they retain a large number of Ming and Qing Dynasties buildings and the famous Jade Emperor Pavilion Taoist complex. The village of Nuodeng, a thousand-year-old Bai nationality: Nuodeng means "mountain with tiger" in Bai language. This is seen in historical books, after the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties in 1138 years of the small village is a wonderful place in ancient times. The Tang Dynasty "man book" has clearly recorded Nuodeng, here at the latest in the Tang Dynasty has been drilled to make salt, is a typical salt well for survival of the village.
