Yuan Zizhen is a thinker, poet, literary and reformist pioneer of the Qing Dynasty. The memorial hall is located in the millet garden of No. 6 Mapo Lane, Dongcheng, Hangzhou. It covers an area of more than 600 square meters and opened in 1990. The main body of the memorial is a two-story building in the Qing Dynasty style, with five rooms up and down, and an ear room. Inside, the introduction of Yuan Zizhen's life, the chronology of events, historical materials, Yuan's annual spectrum, poetry selection and future research collections are displayed. The small bridges and flowing water in the courtyard, the rockery pavilion, are set off by flowers and trees, rich in the characteristics of classical gardens.
