Looking around at Hamburg harbour is always impressive and worth going there. We did a very nice short harbour cruise by boat which for fantastic photo opportunities of the city skyline and the Elbphilharmonie, the new concert hall and centre with its modern architecture. Walking up the riverfront of the Elbe from St. Pauli Landungsbrücken up to Speicherstadt is a very nice walk.

The pier trestle is a very good place to enjoy Hamburg. In the water, you can see the busy sea freight of the port, and the sea view here is quite good, and the air quality is quite good.
