Himeji City Museum of Art Review

If you want to visit all three places, Himeji City, Haogu Garden, and Art Museum, then it is recommended to choose the art museum at the first stop, then Himeji City, and then the ancient garden, so that the line will be stopped. Because Himeji City is located in the middle, the art museum is separated from the ancient garden.

The museum is on the right hand side of Himeji City, about 20 minutes walk from JR Station, and there are many buses in front of the JR Station. On the Himeji Tower, you can see the two L-shaped red brick buildings below. This is the Himeji Art Museum, the former Japanese Army warehouse, and it seems that now it is abandoned.

Hijiji City Art Museum is on the east side of Himeji City. Two rows of red brick and red buildings look very simple. You can walk along the path. The door is open from 10 am to 5 pm. When we go, it has been closed. Everyone is going to go early.
