Hornindalsvatnet (Huoningdal Lake), known as the deepest lake in Europe, 22 kilometers long, 4 kilometers wide, 51 square kilometers, 53 meters above sea level, average water depth of 236 meters, maximum water depth of 514 meters. From Geiranger to Hellesylt car ferry, this is the most classic line in the Geiranger fjord, and it is possible to get off the ferry and follow Highway 60.
