Jinchang Museum Review

The Jinchang Museum has 1,468 cultural relics in its current collection, including 27 national-level cultural relics represented by Bronze Age sand well culture with turquoise gold earrings and Han Dynasty bronze horses, as well as 27 national-level cultural relics and 144 national-level cultural relics.

This is designed by Zhang Li, School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. In the field of architecture, Zhang Li is undoubtedly one of the authorities. The Jinchang Cultural Center in 2007 is a real-life and satisfactory architectural work hosted by Zhang Li. The cultural center breaks down the southwest interface of the whole building into more than 20 solid walls to the west and glass to the south, uneven in the plane and not vertical in the facade. This design method makes the building produce a virtual contrast of light and shadow, like the forest on Gobi. Entering the building is like finding a space where you can hide in hide and seek. "Personally, I completed my first phase at Jinchang Cultural Center. I was 37 years old, but it was the first time that the actual building was very close to my imagination." Jinchang City Museum was established in December 2013, is a comprehensive geography museum with collection, research, display and publicity of Jinchang local historical relics. In August 2017, it was relocated to the new museum, and the new museum was put into operation in June 2018. The building area of the new museum is 2.3 10,000 square meters, and the exhibition hall area is 6,000 square meters. It is the main window for in-depth understanding of the rich historical and cultural heritage of Nickel Du Jinchang in 5,000 years. There are more than 1,600 historical relics in the museum, of which 198 precious cultural relics are national. It is represented by the East Zhou period with turquoise phoenix head gold earrings, dragon-printed bronze mirrors, East Han bronze horses, Weijin portrait bricks, Ming Dynasty platinum bronze bodhisattvas, etc., especially the sand well cultural relics of a wide variety of types and exquisite craftsmanship, which are unique in China. More than 300 pieces of folklore exhibits (sets), more than 100 pieces of paleobiological fossils, Jurassic Jinchuan skull fossils, Cretaceous dinosaur eggs are loved by audiences. 2 basic displays are held ("Jinchang Ancient Civilization Exhibition", "Jinchang Folk Culture Exhibition"); 7 temporary exhibition halls, used to introduce the provincial and foreign museum boutique tour, organize the original exhibition in the museum, "Show + exhibition" pattern has initially seen results. It has a service function area such as the Exploration World-Youth Activity Center, the Academic Report Hall, the Museum Store, the Reception Room, the Comprehensive Service Center, the General Service Desk, the Direct Drinking Desk, and the Self-Service Vending Machine, providing a comfortable viewing environment for the audience. Jinchang Museum has four rooms, including the Ministry of Social Services, the Department of Exhibition and Exhibition, the Collection Research Department, the Ministry of Security and Security, and the office, which undertakes the work of the museum's social services, the planning and implementation of the Chen Exhibition, the management and maintenance of the collection, academic research, and museum management. The current staff has a bachelor degree or above, of which 3 master's students in archaeology and museums and 3 cultural museums. The "Jinchang City Museum" was founded, and it has become an academic park for displaying the history and culture of Jinchang, archaeological research, the collection of cultural relics of Jinbo Museum, museum science and cultural relics protection.
