    Kilauea Lighthouse is located at the northernmost end of the lovely island. It was built in 1913 and is 52 feet (15 meters) high. It is a beacon guiding ships. This is the perfect place to photograph the rugged northern coastline and the dark blue Pacific Ocean, or the site of the Kilauea Nature Reserve, which protects Hawaiian seabirds.
