Lake Sevan Review

It’s a pleasant place to have a rest and swim in summer. It is a high altitude lake so, even in summer it could be cold in the evening. I don’t enjoy swimming here much as the water is cold for me but mostly people enjoy swimming here. I like to watch the starry sky from here.

Lake Sevan has fresh air and pleasant scenery. It is a rare resort. It is rare for tourists. The sky is blue and the water is blue. It is a good place to go to Armenia.

Lake Sevan is the pearl of the Caucasus Mountains, and the largest alpine freshwater lake in Armenia and even the Caucasus region, at an altitude of 1900 meters, is a famous tourist resort. Lake Sevan is surrounded by mountains and is rich in salmon.

Lake Sevan is the world's largest highland freshwater lake, the jewel-like blue lake, has the reputation of "Caucasus Spiegel". In winter, the lake is sparkling, the leaves are golden, and the lake is blue, like a huge sapphire laid out in front of you. Next to the mountain, the golden weeds all over the mountains swayed with the wind and the scenery was beautiful. For thousands of years, time has passed, and the beautiful resort by the lake has changed one after another, but the Sevan Abbey on the top of the mountain has always stood. Cruising Saipan Lake on boarding is more pleasing to the eye, but in winter, it is really cold wind, and Lake Saivan is more beautiful. By the lake is the palace of the President of Georgia, which is against the monastery on the top of the mountain. It is well-equipped and interesting for thousands of years. You know, no matter how beautiful the scenery, if you shoulder to shoulder, there will be no feeling, the best advantage of the Transcaucasian countries is that there are few tourists, the visit process is very comfortable, and there is a little feeling.

Excellent location, beautiful environment, worth visiting

It's the most famous natural landscape in Armenia.

Soon afterward, on the right side of the road, the famous lake of Sevan appeared, and a large blue lake appeared before us through the woods beside the road. This plateau freshwater lake is said to be the largest not only in Armenia, but also in the Transcaucasus region. The road leaves the lakeside and sometimes close to the lake, the entire lake is really huge. Drive along Lake Sevan for about 40 kilometers, taking 40 minutes to reach the last tourist attraction of today, Sevan Abbey. This is a monastery on a peninsula highland stretching into Lake Sevan, probably because of the weekend, there are a lot of tourists here. Even the parking lot is full. We parked in the back area of the nearby vendors, then took the morning cooking and walked up the mountain steps to the peninsula highlands. It overlooks the vast Lake Sevan, and we only found out that this Lake Sevan is really big. We drove for about two hours and didn't even finish half of it, and the side of the lake seemed to be unable to see the lake. In farewell to Lake Savan, you can see the scene of clouds and mists on the top of the hill opposite the lake, which is like a cloud waterfall.
