Ludwigsplatz Review

Nuremberg has many small squares, Ludwig Square is located near the White Tower, one of the gates of Nuremberg's ancient city walls. The square is not very large, surrounded by many big-name stores, it is connected to Lorenz Square and the market square.

Ludwig Square (Ludwigsplatz Nuremberg) is marked by one of Nuremberg's ancient wall gates, the white tower. Surrounded by two churches. The green roof is St. Isabelle Church (Elisabethkirche Catholic Church, and the red roof is St. Jakob Protestant Church, both built in the early 13th century.

Ludwig Square. From Lorenz Square, 200 meters east of Karolinenstrae, Ludwig Square, the sign here is one of the ancient city walls of Nuremberg, the White Tower (Weie Turm), now the white tower is not white, because when repaired, the original brick wall plaster is removed. Behind the white tower, there are two churches. The green dome is the Catholic Church of St. Isabelle, and the red brick spire is the Protestant Church of St. Jakob, both built in the early 13th century.

It is near Lorenz Square, a very classic historical building, and the gate building of the local ancient city wall. The appearance looks majestic, especially beautiful in the morning and dusk, and you can take beautiful photos.

The square is actually not very good, but it always has to pass by. I went there on Sunday. It feels very empty and there are no decent people. If the weather in the square should be good, the flow of people is like woven, but unfortunately there are only Chinese people today.
