Linton is a poetic town. It is located on the northern edge of Exmoor, connected by Linton and Linmouth Cliffs Railway. It is a great place to hike, the most popular hike is to the amazing rocky canyon, just 1 mile west of Linton, many of the winding rock structures are named and very interesting, and the canyon is home to many wild goats. Other popular routes lighthouses leading to the eastern corner of Lynmouth and Watersmeet, two miles upstream of Lynmouth are also worth a try.
